After the closing, there is intended to be a pedestrian trail that begins somewhere opposite the Westford School driveway (to be sited to maximize safety) and will hug inside perimeter of the stone wall until it meets an existing trail on the pasture/forest boundary, where then it will enter the forest. A network of logging roads already exist and it is expected that much of the trail network to be developed in the future will follow most of these logging roads.
A right‐of‐way will also be created to allow for any future Town directed/allowed vehicular service and maintenance type vehicles to access the forest and community land safely and efficiently.
