The Town of Westford assesses town properties. The Assessor is responsible for conducting site visits to gather information to enter into a program to arrive at an assessed value. They are also responsible for conducting Grievance Hearings and other matters that are related to the Grand List. Any changes to a property’s assessed value must be done by April 1st. The Town has one person working as an Assessor who also completes record keeping, emails and other routine office responsibilities.
