In 2012, town residents voted to establish a Westford PACE program. Property Assessed Clean Energy (PACE) program is a way of financing energy efficient home improvements by borrowing money and tying the payments to a property rather than the owner. PACE financing payments can be transferred to a new homeowner at any time, including before the assessment has been paid off.
PACE has now been fully implemented by the Selectboard enabling residents to apply for this financing. The program is administered for the town by Efficiency Vermont. You can learn more about the program or submit for the next application period at this on Efficiency Vermont’s PACE website.
