The sole heirs of the property, David and Lynn Gauthier, began preparing in the fall of 2014 for sale of the property, including digging dozens of test pits that proved strong potential for a housing development. Since that time, several community members have been working with the Owners toward a sale while providing the Town an opportunity to fulfill many goals outlined in Westford’s Town Plan.
The Gauthiers have deferred putting the property on the open market while this large grass‐roots effort to secure the land.
